Annotated Bibliography Post #1

Rosen, Z. (1999). Some Remarks On Max Horkheimer’s Intellectual Development. Dialogue & Universalism, 9(3/4), 37.

As we start talking about Horkheimer I thought that it was important to understand some of the background of this theorist.  This article lays out the basics of Horkheimer’s works including Critical theory.  This article gives a basic background of the author’s life, works and major contributions to the Frankfurt School.  I somewhat feel a bit more comfortable knowing a bit more about the development of Horkheimer and how his works transitioned from being thoughts to being on the page.
